Battery wiring, ground???

I recieved my Cogent Dynamics upgrade for the battery cables. Excellent kit and great mod for the money. But I'm missing something. The kit has three cables. One for the pos terminal to he starter relay. A long ground wire for the ground to the allen engine case bolt, and it has one more short lead, about the same length as the + cable. I can't seem to find another ground cable anywhere... Is it hiding??

Not certain but shouldn't there be a ground cable to the starter motor?

Not sure what the kit includes, but the bike needs:

Engine case (by the crankcase breather) to battery -
Battery to soleniod+
Solenoid to starter+

Sounds like you have it all to me!

The problem is the starter solenoid + is about the same length as the battery + lead, so it doesn't reach the starter. It's about 8" long.

I believe the starter is grounded to the case. If there is a wire to it, it's stealthy!!

I think the solenoid is located in different places over the years, and thus the cables may require different lengths.
Give Rick a call. He'll sort you out right away.

Geof, sorry for the delay! I am out of town this week. I was short some of the terminals but have them now. Things got a little wacky last week. I have never made cables for the top mount solenoid position and do not have the cable lengths. I will make a longer solenoid to starter cable.
