Rave: Mobile Ducati Service

Hey guys,

I changed the oil on my 2000 748 about 300 miles ago and found some metal on the magnet. This got me worried about the rocker arm flaking issues. I went ahead and had the 6k service done on the bike at 4900 miles to make sure everything looked good. After talking with number of dealers and local mechanics I decided to use Mobile Ducati Service out of Houston so that the work could be done in my garage. My bike came out very clean with no flaking issues whatsoever and only two rockers needed to be adjusted.

I have to say that I was very happy with Mobile Ducati Service (www.mobileducatiservice.com). It was nice being able to corner the mechanic and ask him questions as he's working on your bike. He was a wealth of knowlege and has been a certified Duc tech for over 5 years. He even knew a lot about the 1098's and is attending a week-long training on them this week. As a bonus, his price was about 1/2 what the local dealer and two local indenpendents quoted me for the service. If you're located in Texas I would definitely recommend giving him a call.
