Yellow Color Change

When did Ducati change the shade of yellow on the 748?
I just got a '97 and the yellow is more of a mustard color.
The later models I've seen have a bright yellow finish.

I know that I had a 99 fairing off of a 748 that looked to be the same yellow as my 2001 996.
But I do know that the 748 fairing was Red before it was painted yellow, I guess that was a common thing for the older Ducs was to orignially have been red and then painted Yellow.
