Installing zero gravity double bubble

So Santa brought me a new windscreen for my 04 749s but I don't seem to have the right allen key size that fits the screws. Anybody know what size key it is so I can go buy one?

Thanks,

Kevin

Yep...tiny torx. But a 2 or 2.5mm allen works just fine taking them out. When I got my windscreen, I replaced mine with a set of 3mm allen titanium screws that look friggin awesome!! Very nice touch.

I went with black 3mm allens and they look great too, nice little mod that adds to the overall.

Thanks for the replies....Where did you get the black screws at? Home depot??

Oh yeah, and the running light.....How does that thing disconnect?

Thanks again!

The light you just simply unplug and stuff the wire down in something to keep it out of the way...no worries there. Cycle Gear has "wind screen" specific screw sets that come with the rubber well-nuts and everything. They have various colors (black, red, blue, aluminum) as well as the Titanium ones I got. The Ti ones are a bit more expensive but they stand out quite nicely compared to the stockers.

Chris made a great point too...the new screws don't seem like much, but it sure does add quite a bit to the "finished" image. Amazing what getting rid of that wart on the front does for the bike as well...Who thought up that one to begin with???

I believe it is a #8 torx. Then replace it with allen type.

dont forget to post a pic of your bike with the ZG double bubble. I'm interested to know how much taller it is than the OEM.
