Front Fender Brake Clip

Hey guys, looking for the clip and bolt that holds the front brake hose to the fender. Anyone know the size and shape and where to get it? Thanks a ton! Talking about a 2000 748R, so I imagine any of the 748/996/998 models would be the same?

If you find out I'd be interested to know, when I bought a CF fender it came without this clip so I used the one off the old fender but would like to replace with new - mine was/is pop-riveted on.

Suppose a dealer could get one - but that's just too easy

OK Sam your official ducati.ms parts counter person to the rescue. I looked up the part numbers for you on the Ducati web site which has the parts catalogs. Call your dealer and give them the numbers. They have or can order.

850.1.003.1A - clip
736.4.013.1B - shear rivet
852.1.075.1A - washers (2) - one goes between rivet and clip and one goes between clip and fender

I this stuff from the dealer some time ago. Couple dollars or so total. By the way I didn't bother with putting the clip and rivet on.

+1. If your bike is y2k or newer Ducati has all the parts fische's available for free on the ducati.com website. You can also get y2k+ parts fische's online at www.bikebandit.com , but you're better off going through a dealer because Bike Bandit charges MSRP, still has to order the stuff from Italy, and charges you shipping. If you go to a dealer locally, you skip the second leg of the shipping process, and don't pay shipping.

Also, in a semi-related note, the parts fische's come in REALLY handy if you're a somewhat novice DIY mechanic trying something for the first time. They show which pieces go where and in what order, along with diagrams and drawings of each piece. It's a very great companion to the Haynes guides. When I did the sprag clutch on my Ducati I had managed to find the only helpful person at my local Ducati dealer, who happens to be the parts manager. He printed out the diagram of the sprag clutch and entire starter/stator/sprag assembly and faxed it to me so I had a visual parts breakdown along with drawings to match up to parts, and the Haynes manual to give me halfway-decent photos and a step-by-step. So, you know...if you need things like that, it's a good idea to remember where you can find them.

By the way I will use this opportunity to mention the Ducati dealer in Richmond,VA I use which is www.motoeuropa.com. The person in parts (Margo) is always friendly, very knowledgeable on Ducati parts and they have good prices actually for most things. They will ship for a good price as well. Compared at least to the mega-selleverybike dealer near me whose prices on Ducati items are expensive.

When I changed to Spiegler front lines they are thinner and dont fit into that bracket, so dont worry about it. Or go with a SS twin line setup from Galfer.

I ended up not liking the idea of a rivet because I can't get the clip off once installed. Maybe I was scared I would mess up the CF fender or something. In addition I found no need for it as my front brake line doesn't get in the way of anything and hangs a little bit above the fender.
