XX9 Front Fender??
I've been keeping my eye out for a used CF front fender for the ol 749. In doing so, I have seen two different styles going around. The difference is in the shape of the fender right where it wraps around the forks. Some are round and fit perfectly around the fork tube. My stock one is like this. But, I have seen others that are kinda square, or notched out in the area around the fork tube. Was this a year model difference or just some manufacturers difference?? I assume either one would fit just fine, but I like the round better. Anyways, just curious.

, a little...but still a legitimate question. I didn't think you'd have to pull the forks though. Just eyeballing it looks like you could pull the wheel and slide the fender down and out that way, no??

I have removed and replaced my front fender 3 times. Its a real chore and is not without hazzards. The fender can be gently compressed and installed without more than a few minutes of effort (forks were never an issue except for squeezing the fender past them)
You really have to watch 1) scraping/scratching the paint and cracking the clear coat/resin on carbon fiber. I have had good luck I must say. You need to remove both the side fairings for sure as they get in the way.
