1098/848 rearsets on a 749/999 possible?

I was recently given a set of CRG rearsets off an 848.

I expect they are not a direct fit, but has anyone fitted 848/1098 rearsets to a 999, or 749 in my case? Is it possible or are they way off.

Not near the bike for another week, hoping this has been tried before
