anyone running a sps with a quickshifter

Hi all looking for some assistance
i have a 00 996 sps, and wanted to hook up a quickshifter, HM make one for my bike , but b/c it runs the older type coils..i cant use there reverse shift lever.(something to do with there wiring loom for the older models) i was told i would need to run my existing linkage set up...so i wanted to know does anyone have a quickshifter and reverse lever set up..thanks john

I use HM lever with the old coils, just resolder some of the wires, not too difficult, done in an hour with chit chat.
All wiring is explained in their manual.

OR, you may want to look at starlane shifter for supermoto.

HM I dont think they have a clue, thats why they say it wont work.
I just asked a simple question if so and so and he just said NO and thats it, lol.
Then I mapped an 848 it was fitted to and very well its really simple to reroute it for 996 coils.
