Question about brake bedding - Ducati.ms

So I just got my new rotors after my others warped. I have the original pads with some wear left and will be replacing them within a week though my immediate concern is replacing the rotors so I can eliminate the warp pulsing in the brakes.

Question is: can I bed the old pads onto the new rotors (after scuffing them on the pavement) and then bed the new pads in a week or two later without much trouble?

Also: if anyone can point me towards a bedding procedure I'd greaaaatly appreciate it.

do it right and do the pads with the rotors at the same time. Like you said, you'll be replacing the pads in a week. Wait that week and do it right.
Scuff on the pavement?! Really?!!! Are you trying to bed in junk off the pavement onto your pads?! This is not the right or a good way by measure to do things.
As for bedding procedure follow the manufacturer's recommendation. If the box did not come with instructions, contact the manufacturer. Methods can and do vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.

Balls, I didn't literally mean the pavement, sandpaper or some other abrasive. I'll wait. FML. Anyone know where to get ferrodo platinum for a 996 front? I can't seem to find any in stock/

would prefer organic if possible

It appears, and I never knew this, that I have upgraded front brakes on this bike? So in this case moto, which pads would I need?

Looks like the 4 pad caliper 65mm set

Those 4 pad calipers have sintered pads.

These Ferodo pads are sintered but are a little easier on the rotors and will probably work a little better than the OEM:

Great thanks for the tip and the PM I will contact them tomorrow. having rear brake problems (total failure). Not sure if there's air in the line or of the pads are too worn (when on the stand the rear brake works but when im out riding i can hit the rear all the way down with ZERO bite).
