No power to front Ducati Performance LED's
I'm know I'm going out on a limb here, but has anyone ever fitted a pair of these, Ducati part # 96987308B Ducati Performance LED front indicators 848/1098/1198.
Fitted them up perfectly to the wife's bike but i have no power to the indicators & the rear flashes faster than normal.
Any input anyone ?
My guess is it may have something to do with running an LED front pair with the original incandescent rear pair, just my guess though.
[searching online also with my flame-retardant suit on in case i've overlooked something basic]

Have you got the polarity right? Standard bulbs will run either way but LEDs need the positive and negative the right way round.
LEDs often make the flash rate faster, the same as a missing or blown bulb would as the load is too low. You may need resistors to restore the orignal load or a new flasher unit once they're working.

Hi, all i did was purchase the Ducati Performance front LED mirror kit, they have exactly the same plug as the original mirrors, plugged them in [the only way they'll plug in], and there's no flashing of the indicators on the mirrors, only the rear flash [faster than normal]

i remember when browsing rizoma site, they had extra special "converter" ( cant remember the word) for their rear view mirrors, check on the site, but i tend to believe they were in fact rezistors.

I'll take that on board, but i honestly can't see a Ducati Performance part requiring some 3rd party intervention to make it work
Even if needed, Ducati would've included it with their mirrors right ?
