Some "under sprocket cover" case guards available

1st, I am not associated with the guy making these. I was looking for a chain case protector in the event I threw a chain. I wanted one that fit under the stock front sprocket cover. There is an ebay seller in the UK that has a few very nice stainless steel ones left. It's a simple product but it still needs good engineering and this one is made well. They fit various superbike models. I just purchased one. Ducati DP use to make one but I could not find them anywhere. The ebay ones are auction style not "buy now". I think the price is about $24 with shipping if you get win one in a low auction.

Desmo Times sells one, as does Cox Racing.

The Ducati part number for the one on my M900 is 46010301A. Ducati calls it a chain guard.

When I Googled that part number, I found that ProItalia and Commonwealth Motorcyles both claim to have them.

Apparently one size does not fit all. DT and California Cycleworks sell two versions.

The OE Ducati ones are discontinued & nearly $37 if you can get them? Plated/painted plain steel rather than stainless too.

Crap, I wish I had posted before I purchased. I always feel better buying from a ducati MS member or sponsor first. I wasn't aware of the options. Thanks to all who reponded. The ebayer in the UK I purchased from was "moley1940", product is in shipment. I was looking for three things 1) fitment specific to my model year 2)stainless steel 3)design that allowed the stock sprocket cover to be used.

I have moley's guards on mine and they are a perfect fit, never personally 'tested' in anger but I'm sure it gives as much protection as possible...
