Reverse Shifter, yay or nay?
I'm looking at this one from desmotimes.
Desmo Times Product 222 - Reverse Shifter
Does anybody have one? I like the simplicity without the linkage, and the reverse pattern sounds good, but how hard is it to get used to the new pattern?

My first bike was reverse too. Looks great without the linkage.

Reverse shift isn't ideal for street riding, so it depends on the application. It makes more sense to bang down on the shifter to get into a lower gear on the street when stopping quickly is usually your goal.
Why do you want to change? Boredom?

Haha yeah maybe boredom is part of it. Figured maybe less moving back and forth on the pegs especially with my big feet. Also the direct linkage looks better

Never understood why putting your foot under the shift lever to go faster made universal sense and why shooting zombies in the head kills them?

Just make a habit to pull your toe from under the lever between up-shifts Took about a season to become autonomic.
