straightening wheels

Has anybody used framestraight? Motorcycle Rim repair,Motorcycle Wheel repair, truing, rim straightening,Wheel Repair and Wheel Straightening for Motorcycles,Most accurate repair in the world
I have a '95 Brembo 3 spoke wheel (with lucky elephant) that has a lateral bend. I took it to my local wheel straightener shop, who said they couldn't fix it cause the problem is located in one of the spokes. So here's the dilemma: Do I ship the wheel to Tennessee, or should I just keep hunting in the classifieds and ebay for another wheel?

Buy a new/used wheel. I've seen them for around 300$ on eBay.

They will never be the same. Replace it.

I would never consider straightening a motorcycle wheel.
I would ask myself before every ride "Do I feel lucky today?". It's just not worth it.

I've had 2 badly bent wheels straightened. 1 off a 2007 FJR1300 and one from an ST4s.

Would do it again no problems.

What would you expect to happen? It might explode? Have you ever had a wheel straightened? It will probably be better balanced than when new.

HaHaHa, yes funny you should say that about balance Thack. Because the ST4s front wheel that I had repaired was the only bike I've had without a balance weight on it.
When I had the tyre refitted and check for balance the shop took off the weight.

Yes. They straightened a badly bent front rim from a CBR 900RR for me years ago. Perfect job; I'd recommend them!

Yes, he straightened out a fork tube for a triumph I had. I was very happy to deal with him. I don't know where you're located because I didn't look, but if you're close to the NE, I used a place in New Hampshire called MC Wheel to straighten out the front rim-also very satisfied. They did it quickly and it came out perfectly. I did a few track days on it, matter of fact.
