Unless if you understand what doing so does to the dynamics of the bike and ride, I would highly suggest taking it to KFG racing before touching it and screwing things up for yourself. You're in Seattle, and he isn't far from you, so it should be easy enough to do.

Mounted next to the shock is the rear ride height adjustment rod. Loosen off the 2 nuts at the top & bottom (1 of them is a LH thread) and turn the rod to raise or lower the rear.

Be aware that if it has not been adjusted recently that the alloy of the rod maybe seized onto the steel ends so you may need to free it off, if this is the case you may even need to remove it to do so - otherwise it is a quick and easy job.

First time I adjusted mine it was seized. I had to remove it, soak it in various penetrants and then use heat and (too much) force on it before it was free.

In doing so I rounded the edges on the alloy nuts and then a year or so later I noticed that one had cracked, presumably due to the force that I had applied to it.

In the end I bought a new billet adjuster which is easier to adjust as it has a hexagon in the middle.

Whatever you do make sure that you apply plenty of anti-seize when you reassemble it.

Ugh! Misread the title of this thread. Thought it said "Racing the bike". Now, that would have been interesting...
