Exclamation Dry Clutch Compatibility 998 vs. 1098

Hi,
I'm sure through the years the question has been asked but I need answers from the experts of this Forum

Now, I have a 2002, 998 model and a friend has a 1098...
I want to know if the 1098 dry clutch (cover, pressure plate, springs/caps, Barrett Racing clutch), will fit in my 998 ?

Thank you for your help

It will yes. Perhaps you have to adjust your rod length but thats all.

I heard a rumor the 1098 friction discs is what you want, but its the same exact crap as the ST4 ones I used since 05. So I ordered these very special 1098 discs, just to see they were the same, lol.

Thanks TomTom, much appreciated it.
And as far as, any special parts goes (disc, plates, suspension...), even though we all know it is a well orchestrated marketing & tailored for us, we're still suckers

Thank you very much and perhaps, I'll, too, convert my now 998 regular engine, into the 1198 engine. Great inspiration ;-)
