916/748/996 Cylinder height?

I was just curious as to whether or not there is any variation in overall cylinder height between any of the Desmo motors.

Reason for the inquiry is I just spoke to Mark over at Motocreations about a custom Boomtube setup for my naked 748 project and he inquired about cylinder height differences and I honestly wasn't sure. Figured I'd ask here first.

They all use the same cambelts (except the dropped-exhaust valve head 748E) and the same exhausts, intake manifolds etc.

So they are all almost the same height but, they have different belt tension rollers to take up the belt slack (3 sizes IIRC) so there is a very small difference in the length of cylinder/height of head.

This could be further altered by tuning - eg my 916 has had 1mm machined off the heads to get more compression (and a tad more off the cylinder base to get the squish) and so required the larger (gold not black) rollers to tension the belts, I also had to very slightly trim the belt guards to fit.

I don't know the exact numbers but I would guess it's no more than a couple of mm?
