749R timing belt pics - after 3 years of standing still!

Just thought I'd stick up a picture of the belts I just removed from my 749R, that has sat unused for the last three years and two months (exactly!).

In all that time, the engine hadn't been turned over once, and this is what they look like:



I didn't think they were too bad, don't seem to have set too badly IMO?

But I changed them for new ones anyway!

When it comes to the newer superbikes I think belts are a minor detail and hold up a lot longer than they used to without snapping.

I change the belts on my 998 about 4 years ago, then we moved and the 998 went into storage, I'm curious what mile will look like when I refresh it in a month or so.
