Is your 848 as hard to turn in or lean as mine seems to be? I need to get my suspension set up for me to make a final decision but it seems like i'm fighting the 848 to turn in and exit a turn. I might bite the bullet and get some ohlins 30mm cartridges for the front and an ohlins ttx36 for the rear if I can't get the suspension to feel right.
I only have 600 miles and just dropped it off at the dealer to get the fueling fixed. My 848 was neutered under 4000rpm or %20 throttle position (closed loop section). At 3000rpm there is a huge lean spot in the stock tune, I read that this is because emission tests are performed on motorcycles at 3000rpm so the A/F was set to 14.7 under 4000rpm and leaner at 3000rpm. That made my run poorly in my opinion. I'm not looking for the most HP or racing but stock the 848 was hard to ride with the fueling issues and a 15 tooth front sprocket. I still love this bike, I must to justify spending so much money on it

Don't waste your money on 30 mm cartridge.
Get the sag set before you buy anything.
If springs turn out wrong replace those.
Getting an adjustable ride height rod is the next option for chassis tuning.
30 mm cartridge is probably some of the worst money spend in this case.
