01 996- which eprom

sorry if this is an old topic but i just recently got a full termi exhaust installed on my bike and i was hoping to get an eprom or power commander of some sort. i really dont know where to begin or what to do. any recommendations?

Also, note that 996 low speed fueling problems are exacerbated by the 996 stock gearing. The 996 has a 1.84 primary ratio combined with a standard (non-close ratio) gearbox that makes it probably the highest geared stock Ducati ever.

I strongly recommend that ALL 996 owners change from the stock15/36 94-link chain to a 15/43 98-link setup (or the equivalent 14/40 96-links.)

thanks shazaam....does having a lightened sprocket help any either?

i had a similar situation with my bike. FBF in PA will dyno your bike and burn you a custom mapped chip and your bike will be spot on!

they did it for me and i can't believe how much better the response is!
