Very tough to tell IMO... That could sound like anything. Only thing I could figure is it revs higher than previous engine... Maybe less base?.. But that could be the recording

Needs a $3000 Termi system before it sounds good.

I cant make sense of that run.. What gear? Why is he messing with the gearbox after revlimit? Why is he braking it?
More importantly.. Where is the graph and the numbers.. This video doesnt say jack.

Agreed, however, it does seem to show a base 1199 with xenon
/led whatever headlights.. Which is pretty cool

I can think of they are not allowed to display the numbers as its not officially shipped yet.
And if they were allowed it is someone affiliated anyway so it would be useless to us.
Gear shifting after the pull is likely because the operator is dynojet schooled and they use 4th gear for anything, thats whats in their bible.
I would use the apropriate gear to have as much sampling time as possible yet not fry the engine, but thats just me. ie for anything over 110 hp use 6th, for a 2v 900 use 4th typically.

FWIW, came across this dyno graph of the 1198 and 1199 at an MV site...
