Question Thread lock on LHS crank case cover bolts?

Last question for a while, promise. At least a few days...

Should I use thread lock (blue) on the crankase bolts? On the starter mounting bolts? On the LHS crankshaft bearing cover plate bolts? Should I just use blue thread locker on all the bolts? heheh

Should I pull the flywheel nut off while I'm in there and re-thread-lock it, or only if it's loose?

And is blue threadlock ok, or should I use red for anything?

Also, what locking compound/sealant should I use if I have to replace the fuel line fittings in the gas tank (the female ends, not the male ones). I ordered a set off ebay that supposedly fit the 916, but it comes with both male and female fittings, and I don't know if the male ends in the kit will fit the OEM female fittings in the tank.

Thanks!

I put blue threadlock on all the bolts. (also, you can see when you pull them out - they should still all have some residue on them) Be careful using red anywhere you ever plan to take off again.

As far as the nut - I would inspect it, and if you have the correct socket - I would go ahead
and re-locktite it since you have the cover off already. If you dont have the tools, Id probably
just leave it alone.

Not sure about the other.
