Carbon fiber wheels and passenger?
Hi all
I am getting BST carbon fiber wheels for my 748S, wonder if anyone carry passenger with these wheels? Is it bad idea to put extra 100 lbs on those wheels? Thanks all. Anyhow will have my stock Marchesini 5 spokes aluminum in red for sale soon, any idea how much those goes for? Thanks again

I had BST's on my 178 rwhp Hayabusa. I toured on the bike, railed it at the track, screamed through the canyons, hit every damn pothole that creeped on it, and drag raced the hell out of it.
Not one issue. Ever. In being ridden hard for 35k miles.
You're BST's are far stronger than any aluminum or magnesium rims you can get for your bike. Put it this way;
Take an aluminum rim, and throw it hard on the ground. You can imagine what is going to happen, one hell of a dent.
Do that to BST's and they'll just bounce.
You will not have an issue.

No problems.
We have been using the BST wheels on STs, Monsters, MTS with passengers.

LOL! I dare you to do that. They won't dent like the aluminum...they'll break or shatter pieces off of them.
Carbon fiber rims are stronger than aluminum (assuming same dimensions)...but for the love of god, please don't throw them on the ground. It's a waste of a few thousand dollars. CF has a higher tensile strength and yield, but it's very brittle.
