Info on installing new pressure plate??
I have a 09 1198s and I just got a EVR pressure plate, springs and caps. I just went to install it and it's not wanting to fit flush, teeth in teeth. If I put the old pressure plate back on it does the same thing. I know it just moved or I'm not lining it up just right. Any info on what I'm doing wrong or not doing would greatly help.
Thanks, McFly.

On the end of one spring post is a notch. It has to line up with a mark on the pressure plate that'll be next to one of the spring holes. If you can't find it, try putting it on all six possible ways. One will be the correct one.

Thanks I got that one, cut marks line up with the dot on the back of the EVR pressure plate. It almost seems like the push rod is not in all the way in or the black cap on the end moved?? I don't want to just put the springs back on and tighten, scared I might mess something up.

Its easiest to pull the pushrod out and seat in into the pressure plate first. Then slide it in as an assembly

avaipan2, thanks for that thread, I just wiggled it and pushed on it for a while then it started to seat.
