1198S Black and Red

Hey guys I recently purchased a 1198S that is black with the bronze colored frame and wheels. i am thinking of changing the side panles, the tank panels and the tail section to red. Does anyone have any pics of a bike like this or similar? I just cant tell if it will actually look good or if my imagination is getting the best of me. Thanks..

Awesome thanks! These are the only two pics I have right now. I posted a pic of a red 1098S as its the same body if that helps.

It will look outstanding. Just look at the 916, which started with a similare frame/wheel color. That black looks great too though.

no, i thought about that too. i have a red 1198 (base), unfortunately Ducati never made the base model in black. personally, i care more about color than what the fairing says, so i wouldn't care if it said "1198S" even though mine is a base model. either way, anyone that knows Ducati will spot the difference right away and call me or you out on it and the people that have no clue about Ducati, won't know or care about the difference between 1198 and 1198S anyway, and they'll be impressed nevertheless.

i should also mention, that my side fairings are drilled for the SpeedyMoto frame sliders. i'd highly recommend that addition if you don't already have frame sliders. i kicked myself for not putting them on before my crash...would've had less damage to deal with
