It looks good! Polished is a much nicer finish than chrome. It will look classy.

The muffler looks awesome.
I just polished the pipes on my 749. Looked good. I started it and let it warm up for 3-5 minute and the pipe coming of the heads had already turn golden brown(which I like better any way).
If you decide to do the whole thing just know it won't last long.

Well i started off by cleaning the can with a scotch brite pad, then I used a drill and a drill bit polish wheel and to types of polishing compounds, you know those that come as a stick, an initial polish and then a deep shine polish
It's probably taken me about 2-3 hours untill now.. I reckon there's about another hours work in it! Really not too bad!

Oh I am getting rest of the system polish, but it'll be chemically polished... Much easier.. Ive polished rims before.... Promised myself I'd never polish anything again after that! Polishing alloy is a messy job! . thought that it's probably better not to sink the can in to these chemical tubs!
Only other alternative is to leave it as is or polish it by hand...

Polish it if you don't have anything else to do, cannot hurt. You can always scuff it up later if you don't like it.
