This was just to fun to not post.
I mean incase anyone was thinking the 916 chassie aint doing it.
We just watched a few movies from the track and this one stands out, its me chasing the later runner up top rider in sweden on his race prepped 2006 R1, its from 2007 and I still have the 996sps engine in it (tuned quite a bit).
I thought good ride mate, he wouldnt even speak to me, with that old spaghetti rocket, lemon...

Would some kind person please confirm (or otherwise) that the 3 pin TPS 1098 connector is wired the same as the old 748/916 3 pin connector?
Just a different (smaller) connector.
ie pin 1 is still pin 1 and so on, if you follow...
Many thanks.

I don't have my harness in front of me, but the manuals show both in the same positions.
1=ground
2=5v+
3=signal voltage output

Measure resistance on the TPS, should be high resistance throttle closed and low at wot.
If not swap the outer two.

Thanks chaps, useful to know if she doesn't fire...
Bit more progress today... My modest air box effort. Not as elegant as some, but she should do fine.
I have also drilled and tapped some holes to hold her steady in the TB's.
Top tip...If you do glass the stacks in, drill the holes for the injector brackets first!
