999R dies from time to time
My 2006 999R dies occassionally. I'll be riding around and the engine will die. I'll pull in the clutch, hit the starter, and be back under power, but it shouldn't be doing that. It has a 57mm Termignoni exhaust and DP race ECU. No other modifications. Any ideas on what could be causing this? Thanks.

the next time the engine stalls don't pull in the clutch watch the tachometer
needle if it falls like a rock ... you have an ignition problem but if the tachometer stays up you have a fuel problem....

Does it fail to start once in a while? (Push start button & nothing)
Are you saying that you're riding at say 60mph and the engine just 'dies?

Loose connection somewhere, two likely culprits:
Side stand switch
Connection that goes into the airbox on the bottom right side of the airbox
Failing that, start looking for a loose wire that has chaved through and is earthing itself against metal somehwere
