999 Headlight Fuse Help

So installed my HID lights and the license plate relocator. All lights were working. Get home with the bike and now the headlights dont work, but the high beam passer switch works as the highs flash. The left turn signal is also out. Since I dont have the manual, can somebody point me in the direction that the light fuses are located for the bike.

Thanks, so I thought thats where they should be and there was nothing in there.

So I see a few wires going into some electrical tape. Undo the tape and behold the previous owner electrical taped the wires to the fuse directly. So now I need to make a fuse box to do this correctly. Off to auto zone..ugg

Sounds like it was used as a track bike at one time. You might want to open things up and see if that mindless asshole screwed up any other wiring before you trust it on the street.

So I fixed the fuses and I effed up. Didnt disconect the battery before I started and one hot wire sparked against the fuse access on the headlight cover. Get everything together and I turn the key to on and NOTHING. I checked all fuses and continuity and all checks out. The battery has volts, all fuses work, wish I had the wiring diagram. That wouldnt short out the ECU from the front fuse would it?

Any advise would help at this point. I really dont want to pay the dealer labor cost to chase this down.

Did you check the two fuses down adjacent to the battery? One of those protects the ECU.
