Thanks for the input. I'll take the bike in based on what is written here.
I know the typical sound floating rotors make, this is a bit different. The floaters on my 1098S make a "click" sound as well, but the "click/clunk" sound on the Hyper in comparison to the 1098 further convinces me something is not exactly right.
As far as being a bit paranoid--yep! I admit it, when it comes to brakes, I am solidly trepedacious (not actually a word) and a bit paranoid. A failure in the brake department spells certain pain. The bike has over 3K miles on it and I know the noise is different and by different I mean worse than it was even a 1000 miles ago. The 1098 isn't even broken in yet and this is why I appreciate everyone's input... I have no basis upon which to apprehend the problem. So thanks!
