Photos of the only Multistrada 1200 in the USA
I shot out this morning to check out the new Ducati Multistrada 1200. The only one in the country was at Ducati Motorcycles of Atlanta. I took some photos and also some video (which will go up a little later). It looks very good in the flesh, much better than the impression I had taken from photos. Check out the Multistrada 1200 photogallery here.

Don't tell me you're sipping the coolaid now too!!?
J/K...if I could afford a $15k+ motorcycle right now, I'd be spending my time looking at this and the KTM SMT...and that's about all.

Not sipping the cool aid but not afraid to admit I was wrong. I used to think the MTS 1200 was hideous. I still like the idea of a 990SMT though!

There are at least 2 in the US right now. I would be willing to bet that number is closer to 4 though. I have seen two in the same room (while sober) while attending the Ducati dealer meeting a couple of weeks ago. It sounded like a few of the DNA (Ducati North America) folks had been out riding a few of them over the last month or so. That is why I believe there is more than just 2 stateside.

Glad to see you are finally coming around to the Multi. It almost changes how you look at it once you sit on it and see it in person. The nose that you and others have previously despised seems to make sense after looking at the bike in person.
+1
on there being more than a few Multis stateside.Press is currently testing them. I just rode a Multi S Sport in white myself. It's all they say it is.

What 1200MTS forum!? Have you been breathing in fumes from those old corroded MTS1000 oil lines of yours?

I stand corrected on the number of bikes in the country. And for the record I still think the MTS12 has more than a few styling challenges. That said, hhe Ducati Multistrada 1200 Up Close and Personal Video is now up. Check it out here

my dealer is probably the closest one to the Ducati NA headquarters....and has a red one in today for a 600mi service.
we saw the Hypermotard well in advance of its availability as the Ducati NA guys tore it up in the local hills.
