30k service average price?

What did you pay for your 30k service? Anything I should be aware of on this one (other than grabbing my ankles)?

When people ask if i feel bad not doing the oil sooner, I"ll jus tell them how much this service costs.

Yeah holy shit, $2200. I budgeted $1500, sheesh. I wonder if the crease grease is included in that service.

Jesus, $2200. These damn bikes are becoming like aviation, very high operating cost. I'm coming up on my first 15k, I guess it's equivalent to a "C" check in the fixed wing world.

If you skip the forks, this will save you $2-500. Its nice to have fresh forks, but they honestly still work great at 30k miles without servicing.

Going price I had been seeing was $900-1200 without forks, $1500 with. Alternatively, get an LT Snyder book and a shim kit and have at it! You will spend more time pulling everything apart than doing the valves and belts. I have done it 3 times on my Multi and am more than happy to field questions or help anybody close to me.

$2100 here in WA last month with forks included. As t-bills said it's about $500 less if you skip that part.

I'm actually considering this - skipping the forks for maybe a few thousand more miles. Quick question for you - how far out would you push this 30k service on this particular bike? I pushed my 2013 M1100 EVO out almost 4k miles over and it was fine (something I would've never done on my previous 7 Ducs). Think this 2013 MTS S Touring would be fine pushing this out to say, 33k or so?
