It was included with the exhaust, as a special offer in October. But even so.....

Why you are so sure? Free update???

You missed my attempt at humor. Free because I just got a Rexxer map installed for my current setup, stock air box and the QD exhaust. Now I have spent money, something good will come along for free. Murphy's law.

The only power problem I have is that my Multi's back tire doesn't last . But seriously I have to follow this thread if there will be something available that would make the bike even better.

Thumbs down

Gentlemen, gentlemen, gentlemen...

Here is the statement from Ducati North American Service Manager, Richard Kenton, stating we'd be receiving the Airbox Modification compliments of Ducati.

I mentioned this recently to my Ducati Area Manager Alex Frantz who stated this information was a "mistake".

Can't say I'm surprised. Disappointed, maybe. But surprised? Nope.

We can hope that it is a simple airbox modification, and not an entirely new shape. On the original aircooled Multi the stock airbox vs the DP airbox was a few extra openings. My dealer cut the holes for me, and sold me the DP air filter, and presto: DP airbox.

That, plus the remap wouldn't be expensive.

Does anyone really knows what is the difference between both airbox? Is it bigger? Different air filters?
