Ducati MTS GPS by Garmin
G'Day,
Could someone confirm the newest available Ducati MTS GPS is either a Garmin 210/220/510?
Thanks very much for any solid feedback as many different opinions float around the internet about this particular Ducati MTS GPS unit.
Have a nice Ducati weekend!

My Ducati/Garmin GPS manual says "Nuvi 500 Series" but I've not been able to determine an actual model number. So, if we have the 510 that would mean we also have Bluetooth capability....

510 is water-resistant and has Bluetooth.

The inner box in which my actual head unit was packed said "nuvi 510".
I have paired it with other Bluetooth devices, which is sufficient confirmation for me that it has Bluetooth.

To determine the exact model number you have, open the back of the unit and remove the battery. Unit (510) model on mine is on the unit, behind the battery.

here in Europe : Garmin ZUMO 660 seems
to be the latest Motorcycle thing.
I opted for a TRIPY II... it s a simple GPS with a roadbook approach but you can even plan trips offroad...
it s used by the pro's in the Dakar Rally... I tested it ( in the car for them moment) and does a great job...
i planned 10 days of touring in scotland on it in 3 evenings ( deciding where to go next and what to see included) planning a 300 km tour tales 1 hour max...
Tripy GPS + Digital Road Book for motorbikes, 4X4, Quad and Oltimers for those interested

G'Day,
Thanks for all the info, ordered a DP GPS as my mate got his Garmin Zumo 650 with Touratech mounting kit (lockable) yesterday and that set-up is just huge and heavy in my personal opinion.

If you want a simple setup, take a look at the RAM handlebar mounts, the kind that the ball replaces one of the handlebar bolts. They are about $10 bucks, and you can mount whatever gps you like. It's no more obtrusive and more flexible than the DP mount, and a hell of a lot cheaper!
