ABS not working

Just rode my new 12' this past Wednesday after picking it up two weeks. Living in Iowa during the winter makes riding a hit and miss. We'll the weather was fine yesterday so this was a hit moment. After getting rolling, the DTC light went off and the ABS light never went off. The amber light stays on all the time. I stopped and turned the DTC on again and the same thing happened. It like it's sensing a fault with the ABS and kicking the traction control off. Has anyone had any problems with the ABS light staying on and not working? I'm sure the traction control is kicking out because of this also.

I would check the wiring and plugs for the wheel sensors, particularly the rear one. Could be a bad connection or damaged sensor.

Will have to look for the wire. You would think it would throw a fault code?

Yes, in that case it may be something is preventing the sensor registering a signal. Is the mounting bent or damaged that may have interfered with it.
Anything obscuring the sensor?
Is the speedo working ok?
