Rattling front suspension MTS 1200

Hi All,

I have a new MTS 1200 S Touring which picked up in December. Have ridden 4500 kms and have found the front suspension at low speeds knocks / rattles when going over small bumps. I can feel it through the bars too. It happens in all modes but less so in urban. I have not changed the factory settings. It seems to be getting progressively worse. Nothing is loose.

Any ideas before I annoy the dealer? Anyone had similar issues?

Hate the speedo error but love the bike.

That is strange! Are you sure it's coming from the suspension? Switching riding modes should not matter. It may be a rattling coming from other parts and into the bars. Mine sometimes has a rattle in the windscreen mount area. You may want to check up there and see if anything is loose.

if you feel it thru the h/bars it could well be a headstock or wheel bearing issue, especially when it's deteriorating. As the bike is only 1 or 2 months old I would have the dealer check it.

Most likely the built in +8% as described in the manual.
