Good Place to Sell Stuff
Was wondering if anyone can help me find a good place to sell some new Authentic Ducati MS 1200S Touring stuff.
Any good advice other than e-bay (too many fees) would be great...Thanks!
I know that I could also use the classifieds of this forum, but do not have enough posts yet.... Any help greatly appreciated...Thanks!

Motorcycle Gear Consignment Shop
Are you familiar with Yellow Devil Gear Exchange?
It's a motorcycle riding gear consignment shop in Long Beach, CA.
The owner, Jessica Prokup, has worked in the industry and her shop regularly hosts motorcycle-related events. She is selective about what she puts in the shop...so I'd say new Ducati gear would be welcomed.
The website is Home | Yellow Devil Gear Exchange
Like all consignment shops, they take a percentage.....which may be more than you want to give...but it's worth exploring, in my opinion.
I've sold some gear through Yellow Devil before...and was happy with the price I got....but it was used stuff I wasn't wearing anymore.

Option A) Find the "Welcome" section here, and welcome 15 people. Then you're at your 25 posts and can post in the classifieds.
Option B) Consider ebay again. I was scared by posting fees as well. But you can post up to 10 ads or $1000 worth of items per month for absolutely nothing. You're only allowed uploading one picture for free, but host more pics on photobucket and embed them in the description.
Verify your paypal account, and you get even higher selling limits. You should try it. My Joe Rocket jacket just sold on ebay for $250, that I only paid $150 for 3 years ago.

Sure, Ebay is cheap to list on, but God help you if you actually sell something. Wait till those "Final Value" fees come rolling in. It's expensive as hell.
Or...you could participate in a few discussions here. There's a whole slew of sub-forums here most people never even look at. Just a thought...

Yeah Ebay is brutal with their final value fees, and then they rape you on top with Paypal transaction fees. Try Craigslist, you have to be careful but generally I have had better luck with that as long as the item is somewhat in demand.

Wow.
I live less than a mile away, and I've never heard of it before.
Must go and check 'em out...

I've found the EBay fees are completely covered by the extra amount you get from a wider auction, with more potential buyers.
Craigslist is local, so you get maybe one or two folks? EBay is effectively national (considering the shipping costs).
If you sell something on this forum, you pretty much guess a fixed price - no "auction". Somebody snaps up your deal ASAP, and leaves you wondering if you should have priced it higher.
So what if EBay takes 5-10% if you sell it for 10-20% more than you'd get through any other means? The listing fee is pretty much nothing, and you can set a reserve price that assures you're not doing charity work.
