This insurance seems high...is it?

I bought Guy's PP and just added it to my Progressive plan. I did not have comp/coll with the 2010 Black touring MTS....

The PP is a 2012....

Any suggestions?

I have Progressive coverage for a 2010 Multi.

Your collision has a $100.00 deductible for $791.00

My collision has a $500.00 deductible for $291.00

I have similar coverage with progressive, except $500 deductibles. I pay $275 per year. I'm 43, single with a clean record combined insurance with my truck.

Thanks guys. I'm giving them a call now. I'm 41, clean record (blind in one eye and I lost use of my L arm in an unfortunate fishing incident...but I don't think any of that should matter)....

Got to listen to Progressive tell me that you can have two people living together, identical twins, same bike...and they can have completely different rates. I still think it's crazy high. Bumped the comp/coll coverage to 1K and got the yearly prem on the 2012 to 723...gonna call around.

I agree. I had progressive for a while and thought they were too expensive. I'm with statefarm now and saving 400 annual on an 01 HD Roadking, 11 Multi and an LR3. Huge!

I have Progressive. $281 a year with $500 disappearing deductible on my 2010 s touring.

Anti theft discount for alarm only gives $2 a year. Funny story, a friend told his agent that his bike has a steering lock and he should be eligible for anti-theft. The agent said how so? Friend said "well, can you ride a motorcycle with the steering locked?". Anti-theft discount was then applied to his policy!

MSF safety course gives me a 5% discount.

Make sure you are getting a discount for ABS also.

Had a policy for a few years with Progressive and found at one point they did not have me listed as having a MC license which added a few $$ before I updated my profile. Wonder how Progressive could insure a MC with a driver without a MC license?

I have chosen 15k-30k with 10k property
Pedestrian 5k
Roadside assist= $10

Premium for collision is only $217yr! I see the OP collision is $791. Must be due to icy conditions in AK?!

includes 3k in accessory coverage as well.

41yo responsible driver.
