Stuff for sale...
Why is it that it seems like every thread around here has a vendor chime in and "offer" their product? Its like a damn bizarre around here.

"Bazaar", and yes, companies are just trying to sell. Thankfully they are kept to a minimum around here.

Vendors can answer questions from folks looking for something...that's fine. They just can't start threads advertising their wares. Nor can people post stuff for sale here...or post a link to their ad (my848) no matter where it is.
It's all spelled out clearly in the rules. I'd still like to know what Mr. Sunshine was talking about...

so wait, if I properly post some parts for my MTS in the classified section, I can't mention it in the Multistrada section?

If someone is askling specific questions in an already started thread, then yes.
You may not start a new thread that basically says "Look at what I´m selling", "Is this a fair price" or similar, that you put up simply to advertise the sale.
We dont have these rules to twart peoples efforts to sell.. Its just that the sections are for discussing bikes, not helping members sell stuff. That is why we have the classifieds.. 
So IF you see a thread in the section that is "For sale", "Want to buy" or "trade you", please use the report button and report the thread as "Classifieds in motorcycle section".
Hope that clears it all up.. And as Chuch says, some examples of salesthreads in the section? We will clean them immidiatly if they are found to be outside the givven rules regardless of who posted them.
