Ride change after Bark Busters install.

I wanted to reach out to people that installed Bark Busters. After my drop I installed Bark Busters and SW-Motech Crash Bars and my bars seems to want to turn in at low speeds. Before install the bike felt like it would ride straight without my hands, but now it feels like it wants to turn in to either direction. Is it just the extra weight of the barkbusters? Just curious. Not a big deal, but wanted to ask.

Is there a particular direction it wants to turn or does it just go either direction? Like if you let go of the bars does it fall one way or the other?

Also how hard was the crash? Your triples could be not straight and need to be adjusted to fix that. If its minor its easy to do. If its more than you'll need a specialist.

With the SW Motech crash bars, you added about 20lbs of weight forward of the balance point. IMO this is the source of your "turn in", not the Barkbusters....

I have the barkbusters and the only small issue is touching the screen on full lock. How many miles on the front tire? I had a similar issue when front tire was worn unevenly. New tire no problem.

You could be correct. It doesn't pull either direction, just feels more willing to turn into which ever direction I am leaning. I think the extra weight just changed the feel. I am also being a little bit nit picky.

+1 I defintly noticed the extra weight after adding my bars too. It not extreme but it is quite noticable.

A bit like going from an empty tank to a full tank

I wanted to follow-up with this issue. I paid a company to adjust and tweak my suspension and the bike is back to normal. He said the front end was 20 mm? higher in the front. He adjusting dampening/ rebound/ etc. and my bike is amazing, best money I have spent on my bike!
