having problems getting in........ to neutral
Blokes,
I am having some trouble getting the muttley into neutral. Doesnt matter which way i try to engage neutral, it just seems to click up into second or down into first..... its a bugger of a thing.
I was pushing hard through reefton spur a few weeks back and bent the gear lever.
Do you thing the two problems are related??
Thanks in advance
OZ

Oz...absolutley the same here too mate. Its my first Ducati, so I thought it may just it's "character".
That said, I only have 28 miles on her(yes 28). But, it was enough for me to hit 5-6 stop lights, and I struggled to find neutral each time. Maybe it will smooth out. Bike is bonkers though... Love it!!!!

Check your oil level. Over filling could be the reason for your problem.

Oberon 28mm clutch slave, night and day difference!
Rdaglock, you need to put more miles before you do anything, the gears need to wear a bit, after 5-600 miles if it still does, then I would suggest looking into it. It's normal when the bike is new.
Hit the N while you're still rolling for the time being.
Cheers!

Bleed the clutch and you should be good.

The clutch bleeder screw on the clutch master cylinder (handlebar) gets that last bubble of air out of the clutch system, I have to (burp) mine every once in a while when I notice the clutch lever has too much free play. It just takes a minute or two.
