Ordered the red anodized handlebar clamp from Rizoma and its.....
not smooth like the website shows. it has grooves in the entire clamp
Looks like ill be sending back to Pure Ducati and its not what their website shows.

Have you contacted (called or emailed) PJ's Parts?
They are THE place to get Rizoma parts from.
...excellent customer service and typically better prices, too.
I'll bet they have the part in stock, and can go out and look at it for you.

They are all that way - Rizoma doesn't make multiple versions. All the images from Rizoma picture the groves too, they are just hard to see at low resolution. You can easily see them in the larger image here:

The 'grooves' are a sign that the part was made by a CNC machine from a solid piece of aluminium. That's the CNC look. If you want the grooves polished out, it usually costs a heck of a lot more for the part!

I personally like the machining showing, I guess others don't.
