Dumb as a rock, I know!
Went on the search planet but don't know what to call them so here it is: what are the 4 hooks/prongs/lips or whatever they call them under the tail for? Not for the license plate nor for the side bags as far as I know, luggage, tool box, what?
Thank you!

I believe that they are bungee tie-downs. You can use them to tie stuff down to the seat with a bungee net or cords.

They're hooks for tie-down straps when you have the bike loaded for a cross-country trip like this:

Better to mount a pair of them fake bull balls from the bungee posts.
Duct tape your FC to the front bottom of the windshield to keep it cooler, and prevent the shield from rattling.
You're welcome.

Thank you all, I knew it was for something useless but I didn't know what.
Now I'll feel better when I trim them!
Dr. Greg

I think I'll cut them off to reduce weight.
