US Multi Trackday Gathering 2012
Has there ever been an organized trackday gathering here in the US? I think it would be fun to organize a Multi trackday and have some fun.
I was a track coach for a number of years for one of the larger trackday companies on the east coast. I'm no longer affeliated with them but still have some contacts. I remember the Ducshop in Atlanta sponsored a weekend or two. Not sure if they still do or not.
Any interest? Barber Motorsports maybe? Just throwing the idea out there.

Yep...Ducshop still does. Usually have it on their website or if you are on their email list.

In addition to Ducati Days? A multi only day?
The last Ducati day here, I rode my multi to the track and then my 996 on the track. Better set up and rubber for the track on my 996. Only saw one other multi that day, so driving some interest on a multi gathering would be nice.
I plan to ride to the MotoGp with a large contingency of Multi's from Southern Cal up to Laguna Seca, now that would be fun to ride on the track with a group of Multi's. Anyone else going?

I have sent out a couple of emails to see what's already planned. If there is enough interest maybe we can even get a group discounted rate. I'm open to tracks but kinda partial to the east coast. IMHO, Barber Motorsports Park is the most bang for the buck and I can never see the museum too may times. Honestly it's way too early to even set a location anyway.

Multi owners should do track days!
The track is so much fun. This is the link to the pictures of my track day at Blackhawk farms. South Beloit, IL.

I took my SF to ducfest at the barber vintage days and did the Ducati trackday the day after the event.
Barber is one of the best tracks anywhere and the venue couldn't be better for a bunch of moto enthusiasts:
A great track, the worlds best motorcycle museum, stunning facilities, easy access to hotels and restaurants, it just doesn't get any better.
Unfortunately its a 24 hour drive one way for me and I'm not going to drive for 4 days to do a trackday on my touring bike.
If I were closer I'd definitely do it.
