introduced my sons to riding today
Today was a very special day.
I introduced both my sons to the passion that is motorcycling.
This is Tim, he was a little afraid at first (probably cause his old sow of a mother had said nasty things about me and bikes) but once he got the wind in his face, he was leaning into corners with me and having a great time.
I asked him 'you having fun mate?' and he replied
'Oh yeah dad, I really can see why you got back on the bike after you accident, this is fantastic !'
I couldn't have been prouder.
Now they fight over who is coming with me on the bike and who will be riding shotgun with the missus in the car.......

Congrats
Congratulations Johno
A true accomplishment! There is a known correlation between safety and first or second generation drivers, because the second generation have been watching how their parents behave in traffic.
I assume the same can be said for riders....
I have been threatening to take my 8 year old daughter....but my missus refuses point blank....the old grouch....
How old r your boys....

One of my first memories of biking was seeing my 4th grade buddy on the back of an old Triumph with his dad. That family gave me a lot of chances to ride different mounts. Drive safe, teach your kids sanity.

G'Day,
Good on ya!
Our son rides Pee-Wee 2-stroke 50cc since he is 5 and now at age 9 cruises around on a Honda Z50 Monkey bike.

Nice one. Hope they both get into it, youŽll be sseing them off on a Monster 600 before long.
Quick question on the bike..
What are those crashbars?
He certainly looks like he is ready to take off!
