After Market exhausts and centre stands

Can anyone tell me?

If one fits an aftermarket exhaust, does it mean one has to get rid of the centre stand?

Or are there full systems out there that allows one to keep the centre stand and if so which ones?

The standard exhaust has that little bracket on it for the rubber of the stand to rest against.....what do other exhaust systems do/ have?

As far as I have seen all exhaust are compatible with the center stand. Leo Vince is as well.

Even if you bought an after market exhaust system that didn't accommodate the center stand you could easily make a bracket to fit.

Thanks Oleary....

I agree one could easily brase a bracket onto an exhaust....if you have the right tools and equipment.....

I don't, so am looking for the exhaust system that will accommodate the centre stand rubber bung.....

Alternatively perhaps if one strapped some exhaust tape around the exhaust and the centre stand then that may offer a solution see the pictures in the Arrow exhaust thread. But I still don't think that is the real solution.

The Rubber bung on the center stand has/will burn , I thought I smelled rubber burning and looked underneath , Mine does not line up very good. I have some silicone impregnated muffler tape type of fire blanket , That I cut into a strip and wrapped a couple of layers around the Bracket of the ugly cat , and applied a glob of high temp silicone to the bung , and bracket which has stopped the burning rubber smell from the bung on the hot bracket...
You MAY want to try a variation of this with your whatever exhaust you have or will install...
