Knobbies coming for our Multi!
I just saw this on another board and had to share:
Continental Motorcycle Tyres*-TKC 80
Front: 120/70 B 17 M/C 58Q TL M+S
Rear: 180/55 B 17 M/C 73Q TL M+S
They show up now at Revzilla:
Continental Twinduro TKC80 Dual Sport Tires - RevZilla
They aren't going to be cheap, but FINALLY we'll have some real off-road worthy rubber for our Mutleys.
I wonder if they'll be VR rated.....

Why would they? Maybe your question is are really that would they require tubes? Tubes are usually required for spoked wheels, as most spoked wheels aren't airtight where the spokes pass into the wheel.
Either way - these tires have tubed and tubeless flavors.
TL=Tubeless
TT=Tube Type Tires

Nope.....and they're tubeless (note the TL designation), so just mount 'em on the stock wheels and go play in the mud.

If only we could get a less expensive set of wheels to put the knobbies on so we could switch between road tire and play tires. The Multi's have so much power compared to more traditional adventure bikes I would be concerned about shredding them quickly unless you leave the bike in 100hp mode all the time, which is no fun either.

I think that is an answer to a question that was never asked...If you want to really dirt ride, get a motocross bike designed for that.
