Scotts steering damper

Got an email from Scott's saying they were thinking about making an adapter for our Multi. Said they would be in touch.

Good news if you like their product as I do.

So easy to switch from bike to bike.

Very nice but quite expensive. About twice the price i would expect. I received an email from GPR a few months ago saying they were not planning on producing something for the Multi. Glad they may change their mind.

I can't afford the Jacked up price on the Italian mount.

The Scott's model will be a lot cheaper than the Italian Ohliins/(Scotts)

Good thing about it is it will come just as a kit to mount your dampner, that U already have to your bike.

I have a feeling there are quite a few guys out there with Scott's on there other bikes. Maybe not on this forum. I have one and I use it on 3 bikes now. My Multistrada needs one, that's for sure. Scott's work great. Proven, that's for sure.

If its really 220 Euros (as my I-tallian is a bit rusty) the price is actually not that bad.

My Itilian is not likely any better than yours, but it looks like 790 Euros to me.

Cheers.

He's right!

AMMORTIZZATORE DI STERZO ROTATIVO OHLINS PER MULTISTRADA 1200, COSTO DELL'AMMORTIZZATORE EUR 560,00, L'ATTACCO AL TELAIO BREVETTATO DA CLAUDIO LUSUARDI CON RELATIVA COPERTURA IN CARBONIO COSTA EUR 220.00.

The Ohlins shock is 560 Euros and the mount made by Lusuardi with carbon cover is 220. I've dealt with Lusuardi before and I have to say they really do good work, (I believe they run Ducati Modena), expensive stuff but top of the line like the Moto Corse line.
