The $10 Loew's Ducati Frame Hole Solution
From the hardware aisle at your local Loew's:
7/8", 1 1/2" and 1 3/4" black textured polyethylene tubing inserts.
The 1 1/2" one fits a little loose in the tube....a dab of silicone fixes that.
The 7/8" and 1 3/4" ones tap in nicely with a rubber mallet.
There's also a 7/8" flush mount one available.
(I did not do the forward frame hole as I have R&G frame sliders installed)

What are those pugs used for, other than to make frame plugs?
I was at Blow's today and while there I looked for them, (I can always use something like that in the garage for projects), they had no idea, they only had the hard plastic cap type.

Furniture Plugs....you are correct, sir!
In the hardware aisle......
Bank of drawers with lots of parts and pieces for furniture fixes, hobby projects, etc.
There's even some CHROME ones......for those who must achieve high levels of "blingossity"......
