Don't take this the wrong way. I think the Pikes Peak is a beautiful bike, But for $22K it should have come with the panniers in the first place.

I added black. The white on the panniers has a pearl in it which matches that of the white MTS. While the pearl is really nice, it doesn't match the white on the PP.

(for as far as i can see) it looks good...
If it should match the PP colours, i thik the wihite or red suitcases are a better choice than black, sins then you only have to add one additional color, by sticker or paint....
But all black and than some nice decals on the side & rear could also ne nice, decals of PP of the ducati corse sign (which is about the same, ofcourse)

Its clearly a case of "to each their own", which is definitely a hallmark of ducati ownership.
My thoughts were "not" to draw attention to the panniers at all. I want to keep them subdued. One attribute of the PP is that several components have been blacked out. Others have chosen to continue further with that theme by blacking out their pegs, brake pedals, shift levers, and exhaust. For me, I decided to go with "blacked out" panniers, keeping the focus on the front end of the bike, not the luggage.
Cheers!

the white on the panniers is pearled, but you have to be close to tell going down the road or drive by and no one would notice.

I just ordered black ones from Pro Italia (nice one day sale 15% discount and free shipping). I have a red topcase and I wanted the red to black transition and I also didn't want the panniers to be too apparent (especially being the 73L ones for touring with my wife) but it's cool having a choice whatever the owner prefers.
