Little video of my Multistrada out on The Ridge Motorsports Park Track
Today I was privilaged to be part of the very first motorcycle track day at a new track in Washington State. It is called, The Ridge Motorsports Park. It is a 2.4mile track that has some major elevation change and a special turn called "The Ridge".
Anyhow since my race bike is current at the frame guys and it being 32-35 degrees I figured, let's take the Multistrada with the Pilot Road 3's. So I cranked down the front suspension and put the electronic suspension at Sport with 2 riders and luggage. I then turned up the traction control to 5 due to the damp (wet at first and then drying) track and very cold conditions.
Sorry about the video pointing down too much....but it gives you an idea....tons of fun..loved the place and the Multistrada is OH SO nice on the track!

Very nice Chris, looks like this is going to be a nice addition to the local track options.

I removed the rear tail lights and fender. Once you try to use the brakes it errors cause the brake light isn't there. Now I know it'll error if the brake light fails. :P

I note that you had the courtesy and good sense to give the noobs plenty of room; unlike the green guy. Was that track day run open class?
I was at Chuckwalla when they had an open class day. Unfortunately, some of the hotdogs who don’t understand the difference between a track day and a race managed to strafe several of the noobs right into the dirt.

Good on you for keeping it on two wheels with that narrow, damp and dirty track!
I don't think I've seen any better illustration about the noise from the windshield than with your video. A roar when you're behind it (obviously on a straight) and as quiet as can be when you head's off to one side or the other and out in clean air...

Yup that it does show! Although it was like 35 degrees so I could'nt stay behind the windshield for long or I couldn't see.
